Bert Rollins died the morning of May 19, 2006 peacefully at his home in Fairfax, Virginia. His long fight with cancer is over. Bert was a member of the USA Palma Rifle Team in 1992, 1995, and 1999. He served four years in the US Army as a Military Police Specialist 4 and was an Assistant Rifle Marksmanship Instructor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He was a U.S. Distinguished Rifleman and a Life Member of the NRA and won several Awards at the USA National Rifle Championships both as an individual and a team shooter. He will be cremated and has requested a small memorial service at a time and place to be determined.

He requested that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the USA Palma Team via Palma Promotions, Inc., P.O. Box 3124, Fairfax, VA 22038-3124, or by using the button on the left showing "DONATE".  Condolences can be sent to his wife, Linda, care of Palma Promotions.
